Reminder: China Magnetics 2009 Is Around The Corner

Just a reminder folks, that the China Magnetics 2009 conference, organized by IntertechPira and the 8th in the series, takes place October 27-28, 2009 in Shanghai, China. This event brings the permanent magnets supply chain to Shanghai for “an in-depth discussion of recent trends and developments within China’s magnet and magnetic materials industry”.

With the media frenzy in recent months concerning rare earths and the restrictions on future supply from China, the timing of this event couldn’t be better.  As I have previously mentioned here, my long-time colleague David Choit, Director of Global Sales and Strategic Sourcing at Dexter Magnetic Technologies, will be chairing the meeting.

Confirmed speakers include individuals from:

  • JABM
  • Molycorp Minerals
  • Black and Decker
  • Magnequench
  • Data Storage Institute
  • ZHMag
  • Thinova
  • Hangzhou Permanent Magnet Group
  • John GW West Consultants
  • Dexter Magnetic Technologies
  • Tianhe Advanced Tech Magnet Co
  • New Force Magnetics
  • All Magnetics
  • Samsung Electromechanics

Visit the China Magnetics Web site to register – even better, drop me a line at gareth -at- and I can email you a promotion code that will get you a 25% discount off your registration!
