Hello Joe:

No, Figures 2 and 3 show different systems. It’s hard to describe the magnet locations in each; in Figure 2 they are in the blue shaft-mounted section inside of the set of yellow rectangular-looking objects arrayed around the shaft, towards the right of the image. In Figure 3, they are buried inside the housing.

It would be nice to indicate some parts of the gear box in figure 2.
Figure 3 is the back view of figure 2, am I right?
Which are the permanent magnets ? Where are they located ?
