The IEEE Magnetics Society has announced the First Call For Papers for its Fourteenth Biennial IEEE Conference on Electromagnetic Field Computation (CEFC 2010), to be held in Chicago, Illinois, during May 9-12, 2010. The aim of this well-established conference series is to “present the latest developments in modeling and simulation methodologies for the analysis of electromagnetic fields and wave interactions, with the application emphasis being on the computer-aided design of low and high frequency devices, components and systems”.
All interested scientists and engineers are invited to submit papers detailing original work in various areas including static and quasi-static fields, wave propagation, material modeling, coupled problems, numerical techniques and a number of others.
I’m pleased to say that the Chicago Chapter of the Society [of which I'm currently Chair] will be helping out with the conference as and when needed.
Authors have until January 15, 2010 to submit a one-page digest in the usual IEEE double column fomat, to the secretariat. Authors will also have an opportunity to submit their papers for consideration for the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics.
You can get more details on the Conference via their web site at www.cefc2010.org.
See you in Chicago!
